Also the title of his popular blog, ALL THINGS THAT MATTER looks at those issues that are frequently overlooked or ignored by national media. Phil Harris says, \"There are many voices and issues that only capture headlines if they come from a celebrity or national figure. There are others voices that go unheard.\" He added, \"The intent of my program is to raise awareness about concerns and problems that affect all of us, not just those frequently in the headlines.\"
Mr. Harris is co-author of the controversial novel, WAKING GOD and has also authored A MAINE CHRISTMAS CAROL. The latter retells the classic in contemporary Maine. Scrooge is replaced by a sixteen year old who turns to drugs after the loss of his father in Iraq.
WAKING GOD is somewhat tied to the blockbuster film and book, THE SECRET which has been on national TV and NYTimes best seller list. The novel exposes organized religions as conspirators in the cover-up of long held secrets that could solve most of humanities pressing problems.
As a nationally syndicated and often featured writer for the American Chronicle, Mr. Harris says that he plans on bringing many of his article topics to internet radio. Planned shows will start with the problem of societal addictions and cover areas such as global healing, invisible disabilities, global climate change, politics, spirituality and, as Mr. Harris says, \"all things that matter.\" In addition to his Chronicle articles, Mr. Harris is also a guest writer for UPI\'s Religion and Spirituality web site as well as for numerous Ezine.
Internet Voices Radio bills itself as the NPR of the world-wide web and its programs are listened to in over 80 countries.
